Plant Configuration
Define how the syrup room is arranged, installed equipment baseline, and which planning modules apply. These settings drive the process flow preview, capacity scope, and optional simulation tools.
Plant configuration
Used to size Sugar Treatment and Sugar Dissolving capacity from sugar demand (Simple Syrup Mass Flow = Sugar Demand ÷ Brix fraction).
Peak demand method
Determines how the design-basis peak month volume is calculated for all capacity, sizing, and gap analysis.
Sugar dissolver design basis
Controls which syrup drives the continuous sugar dissolver sizing. The theoretical worst case is always retained and shown as a warning when it exceeds the selected design case.
Syrups below this peak-month beverage volume share are excluded from the practical design case, unless marked “Include in design basis” on the Syrup recipes page.
Production planning parameters
Peak-month volumes are converted to hourly rates using operating days and production hours.
Tank farm parameters
Engineering assumptions for the Tank Farm Optimisation module.
It is very important to define the tank sizes your plant uses here — this is the only way the Tank Farm Optimisation tool can work. The optimiser selects volumes for all new tanks exclusively from this list, so include every standard size you would realistically build or procure. Each size must be large enough to hold at least one minimum syrup batch after the working heel.
Comma-separated list of standard tank sizes (hL). Existing installed tanks may use non-standard volumes.
Packaging lines
Line speeds determine beverage flow rates for blending and syrup emptying calculations. Sync from Production Demand or configure manually.
No packaging lines — add beverages with line names in Production Demand.
Dedicated tank groups
Groups listed here cannot share tanks with syrups from other groups. Syrups within the same group may still share. All other groups share freely by default.
Existing equipment
Installed capacities and infrastructure, used as the baseline for gap analysis.
Every installed tank is always used in the optimised tank farm. Optionally restrict a tank to a specific pool; leave as "Any pool" to let the optimiser assign it freely.
